People will often say that they've seen their whole lives flashed before their eyes after experiencing a traumatic event. Perhaps it’s a bit morbid, but I think that sounds pretty incredible. So here's my experiment, starting on the eve of my eighteenth birthday...

Pistachio, fig, and orange honey cake…. I splurged at a chic cafe in downtown Columbus yesterday during the time in between our costume fittings (OUCH. CORSETS. ARE. THE WORST.) and our wandelprobe in the Ohio Theater. VERY cool to rehearse with full orchestra. Even cooler to watch the principles from the window above the rehearsal room. Then, of course, I got yelled at for taking pictures. Ally, when will you ever learn? Upon returning to campus late at night, we all converged at Lindsey’s apartment for cheese, stew, henna, impromptu haircuts, and myers-briggs personality tests? what?
